A Life Transformed
Faith and Hope, two surviving pups from the same litter, arrived in our care in an extremely fragile condition.
Both puppies were severely underweight and required immediate hospitalisation.
They needed round-the-clock veterinary care just to stabilise their condition.
Emergency Care And Recovery
Our veterinary teams worked continuously to support their recovery.
Care included intensive monitoring, specialist nutrition, and gentle rehabilitation to help them safely regain strength.
Slowly, both puppies began to recover. Their energy returned. Their weight improved. Their personalities began to shine through.
Two Puppies, Two Second Chances
With time, care, and patience, Faith and Hope transformed.
They grew stronger every day — moving from survival into play, curiosity, and confidence.
Both puppies were desexed, vaccinated and ready for new beginnings.
Most importantly, they have both been adopted into loving homes.

The Work Behind Every Rescue
Every day across Tasmania, our inspectors, shelter teams, transport staff, foster carers, and community outreach teams meet animals and people facing difficult circumstances. This can include financial hardship, illness, isolation, or family violence. In helping animals, we are often also supporting vulnerable people to reconnect with safety, stability, and hope.
From emergency rescues and long-distance transport to specialist treatment and round-the-clock care, much of this work happens quietly behind the scenes — but none of it would be possible without supporters like you.
